Riverstones and adventurer Judith Noordzij joined forces to create a jewellery collection inspired by the beauty of the mountains. With this collection and the accompanying photoshoot, we wanted to express our deep love for nature while encouraging others to follow their own path. To bring the project to life, I developed the concept and took care of the full planning and logistics for what became an intense 18+ hour shooting day. Timing was everything: waking up before dawn to hike up the mountain and capture the first light of sunrise, and later descending long after sunset, guided only by the dark. These moments of dedication and being in exactly the right place at the right time made the experience truly special. Looking back at the results, I can confidently say it was worth every step. Today, Riverstones and Judith proudly use the images to promote their mountain-inspired jewellery online.
