Road cycling in the mountains is one of those mountain sports where having the right apparel makes all the difference. Whether you’re an enthusiastic amateur or a professional rider, no one wants to end a ride cold, soaked, and uncomfortable. For this assignment, I worked with cyclist Belinda Holzer to put Futurumshop’s latest gear to the test: a long cycling bib and a softshell jacket designed for challenging weather conditions.
The fit is tailored to the biking position, while the waterproof clothing provides reliable protection without compromising comfort or performance. To truly capture the spirit of this adventure, we waited for a rainy day. The result was a shoot that not only demonstrated the durability and functionality of the gear, but also highlighted the raw beauty of cycling in tough mountain conditions. The images were later published in Futurum Magazine, showcasing the blend of innovation and mountain sports.
