In the Wildlahnertal valley in Wipptal, Tyrol, I returned to the exact same spot each season to capture a photograph. The series reveals nature’s rhythm: delicate spring flowers slowly emerging, lush green summer meadows on the alm, fiery autumn colors glowing through the forest, and the still, white carpet of winter. Every season transforms the landscape, offering a new perspective and inviting us to move differently, whether on skis, by foot, running, or cycling.
This cycle of change also creates moments for reflection. A quiet walk past a mountain hut in summer feels completely different from a relaxing ski tour in winter, yet both connect us to the same place in unique ways. By revisiting the same scene again and again, the Wildlahnertal becomes more than just a valley. It turns into a reminder of how nature shapes our movements, our experiences, and the way we relate to the world around us.
