Own work
As a passionate skier, few things are as inspiring as watching the world’s best athletes race down the legendary Streif in Kitzbühel. The Hahnenkamm ski race is the most famous ski race of the year, drawing international champions who push themselves to the limit to win the title. The winner not only earns a place in history, but also receives a gondola named in their honour and the iconic chamois-shaped trophy. Each year, celebrities and wintersport fans from all over the world gather in Kitzbühel to witness this spectacular event, which transforms the town into a buzzing hub of excitement.
Having lived in Kitzbühel for five years, I’ve experienced countless Hahnenkamm Rennen and had the privilege of working on the official media team for K.S.C. While much of the work focused on press and sports photography, I also captured unique perspectives, including a bird’s-eye view of the race course from a paraglider.
